Announcing: 

An International Dialogue on Academic Innovations Preparing 21st Century
Students for Leadership in the 21st Century Global STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Community will be held on May
27, 2008 in conjunction with the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of
NAFSA in Washington, DC.

We invite you to join the dialogue if your campus has:

 

*       a mature international experience embedded in the academic
program for STEM undergraduate and graduate students

*       technology-intensive opportunities through which students learn
how to use the 21st Century technologies that are essential
research/communication tools for the 21st global STEM community

*       a curricular initiative through which creativity, inventiveness,
and innovation are taught from the global perspective

*       service learning/internships/research-intensive programs that
introduce students to, and socialize them into, 21st Century STEM global
community.

 

We invite you to join the dialogue if:

 

*       you are involved within your scientific society on initiatives
(current and emerging) designed to prepare STEM undergraduate and
graduate students for leadership in the global STEM community. 

 

We invite you to join the dialogue if:

 

*       you represent a STEM business or industry that needs a 21st
Century workforce of STEM professionals well-qualified for a leadership
role in a global STEM community.
